Taking Guangdong as an example, investigates the passenger flow of five shopping malls, which are divided into different regions according to ten typical business forms such as public areas, catering, clothing, jewelry and watches and so on. Counts the number of people in each region in each time period in order to get the hourly occupancy rate on weekdays and at weekends. Builds a calculation model based on actual cases using EnergyPlus, and compares the simulated data with the actual operation data. The result shows that the average deviation of hourly cooling load is 3.29%, and the average deviation of daily cumulative cooling load is 11.8%. Concludes that the staff schedule determined by the survey can accurately reflect the rules of the actual schedule of shopping mall, which can be used as the input condition for subsequent energy consumption calculation of shopping malls.
